Mrs Irene White Irene, 102 years old today now lives in Castle View Nursing Home, Peel, Isle of Man. Irene and her late husband Cyril who died aged 90 yrs in 2010 - 4 weeks after celebrating their 70th Wedding Anniversary, were married in Harborough Parish Church on 15 June 1940. They built up a well known business in the town until moving to the Isle of Man in 1973 to be nearer to their younger daughter Angela . Angela died in 2009 aged 61yrs. - she and her second husband Stewart Kearsley had 3 children - Adam, Sally Ann and Victoria. Dr Jillian White Irene’s elder daughter lives in Bristol but will be with Irene and the Manx relatives today celebrating Irene’s remarkable birthday. Irene has 3 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Irene still has nieces and friends living in the Harborough area.
